Property Authority predicted logistical services agreement in the industrial city in Jeddah

Director General of the industrial cities and technology zones “cities” Tawfiq Al Rabiah signed with the Director General of Thiyabi logistics firm agreement whereby the latter to provide integrated logistics services in the supply chain to factories in the Second Industrial City in Jeddah, in addition to create storage warehouses for industrial products and providing the means for the transfer of these products to different areas locally and regionally.

Rabiah confirmed in a statement today that “cities” is always eager to attract the private sector to provide specialized services to the factories in order to provide a supportive environment for industrialists thus achieve good returns to all Parties.

Logistics official at the Industrial Property Authority Abdullah Faris explained that the body is trying to attract investors in the logistics services to provide all services in the supply chain to facilitate factory operations in the delivery of raw materials as well as finished products to their customers the best services and lower costs, which will create additional competitive advantages for industrial cities in Saudi Arabia .

For his part, General Manager Thiyabi Yusuf Dhiyab stressed that the current investment in the land of the second industrial cities in Jeddah of the priorities that have been taking a decision which quickly what constitutes the future importance to the implementation of all the logistics, “Road Transport – Storage – Express” Within the framework of adding customs clearance and transportation marine in the near future.

He said he has been allocated investments of more than 10 million riyals from the establishment of “branch – cooling warehouses, freezing and storage yard for materials” provision in the Second Industrial City in Jeddah to serve the industry as well as strategic business partnerships with customers of the site they are producing factories in the Second Industrial City in Jeddah.

The Property Authority has allocated 375 thousand square meters in the second industrial city in Jeddah to set up support projects in the supply chain.
